Les macropores sont un réseau d’espaces interconnectés qui favorisent l’infiltration biologique et la colonisation cellulaire par les ostéoblastes et les ostéoclastes, au coeur du matériau.

L’efficacité du MBCP® a été évaluée de façon critique dans une étude clinique randomisée prospective, portant sur 341 patients ayant subi une arthrodèse postérieure avec une instrumentation associée7. La performance du MBCP® a été caractérisée par :

  • Un résultat clinique équivalent à une greffe osseuse autologue
  • Moins de problèmes de cicatrisation épinière que les greffes autologues
  • Absence de douleurs et d’infections au niveau du site de prélèvement
  • Pas de réactions allergiques
